Founders’ Day Pre-Registration is Closed
Pre-Registration for Founders’ Day has now closed. Onsite Registration will open at 8:00 am on Friday, June 7 at the University of Akron Student Union. Basic registrations (now $40 onsite), a limited number of Package Plan Bs (Housing without meals), and RV tags will be available during onsite registration.
Intergroup Office Closed for Memorial Day
The Akron Area Intergroup Office will be closed Monday, May 27, 2024 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. The office will reopen on Tuesday, May 28 at 9:00 am.
June Executive Board and Intergroup Council Meetings
The June Executive Board meeting will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 7:00 pm at the Intergroup Office, 775 N. Main St., Akron OH 44310. The June Intergroup Council meeting will be held Sunday, June 2, 2024 at noon at the Paridise Club, 1710 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls OH 44221.
Executive Board Nominations
Nominations for the August Executive Board Elections are being accepted until June 15, 2024. Nomination forms can be picked up at the Akron Area Intergroup Office or by clicking here. Completed and signed forms can be returned to the Intergroup Office or emailed to info@akronaa.org. This year’s available positions are Vice-Chair, Treasurer, 1 Trustee and 3 Members-at-Large.
